M42 Single Decal Heer Helmet

7/15/25 - This is a good example of a M42 German helmet. The factory apple-green paint is still mostly present and the army decal is still clearly present on the left side of the helmet with minor chipping in the decals features. The exterior of the helmet has a few deep scratches in the metal around the front left side by the brim and on the back right side near the brim. There is also some oxidization around the dome of the helmet but all three split pins are intact. The interior of the helmet has patches of oxidization around most of the brim and near the steel band that holds the leather liner. The leather liner is intact and has some surface cracking around the band. The leather itself is somewhat stiff and not as malleable, and shows sign of light wear. There is no chin strap with this helmet. Made by ET, size 62, lot #2163.
