05/07/2024 - For sale is a rare matching Type 38 made at the Mukden Arsenal. These rifles were produced in occupied Manchuria to support the Japanese war effort. This rifle is in great condition and with a lot of the original bluing still remaining. The stock is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. The Imperial Mum has not been defaced on the receiver. This rifle is matching throughout on the receiver, bolt, bayonet lug, dust cover, and safety knob. The bolt has both the assembly number and the serial number. The firing pin is matched to the assembly number. The bore is in good condition with plenty of shine and good rifling. The Mukden Arisakas are unique having a rear peep sight.
