Description
05/19/26 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 made by Mauser Oberndorf in 1917. The rifle is heavily worn with no bluing remaining. The metal has darkened to a mix of dark grey/brown with patina and oxidation. The stock is heavily worn and has been sanded. 1" crack behind the tang. There is a repair in front of the rear barrel band. The bore is bright with good rifling, but shows moderate wear at the muzzle. The rifle is entirely mismatched.
