Description

6/8/23 - This is a near-mint example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. The frame and slide are phosphated and the barrel is blued, giving it a "dual-tone" finish. This one is all matching and has both "Waffen 135" military proofs and a police "Eagle F" proof. It has retained about 99% of its original finish. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and some very light surface scratches on the barrel and right side of the slide. It comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is fully functional.
