Description
3/7/26 - This is a rare Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Special Navy rifle from World War II. There were only about 14,000 of these manufactured at Yokosuka Naval Arsenal, and they feature a cast iron receiver and small parts (only the barrel and bolt are steel). The rifle overall is in good condition with the metal retaining a lot of its original finish but some of it has flaked away on the receiver. The bore is on the brighter side but fully frosted through, and the rifling becomes more worn towards the muzzle. The receiver has a very feint serial number. The stock has a large crack on the left side about 6" in length. The right side has a 2.5" crack.
