Description
10/29/25 - This is a rare, late-war zero series Spreewerk P.38. There were less than 8,000 of this variation produced, with the proper "U" stamped on the right side of frame above the trigger guard and on the slide next to the inspection proofs. The barrel and slide are correctly "cyq" marked. All matching numbers, including the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. The pistol has retained about 85% of its finish, with wear on the high edges and around the muzzle, some thinning on the front grip strap, trigger guard, and tang. The top of the trigger bar is lightly shaved. There is some spotty oxidation visible throughout the right side of the slide, and areas of discoloration here and there on the frame, slide, and barrel. Bore has decent rifling but is oxidized throughout. Fitted with an e set of proper red grips. Comes with one correct late-war JVD magazine. Good mechanics, including de-cocker.
