1/8/21 - The consignor on this one mentioned that this Springfield 1911 may be the nicest in the world, and we can't disagree. The finish is better than any I have ever seen with the only distraction being the "idiot scratch" from the slide stop. Every part is correctly S marked. Correct, original Springfield barrel in near perfect condition. Just a little muzzle wear on each side of the slide, and otherwise nearly perfect. And check out the magazine - Nitre bluing like I've never seen before. Also, hardened tip on the top of the mag. Excellent bore. Also, correct Springfield grips. Don't think you will find a better one in this lifetime. Consignor has set the price, and after two weeks being listed you can feel free to make an offer.
