Description

2/14/20 - This is a rare and early Walther P.38 rig from 1940, one of only 7,000 produced with '480' code on frame/slide. The pistol is all matching and original, including the grips. The finish rates at about 80+% with the majority of wear on the front strap, but some pitting along the edges on the left side of the slide. All small parts correctly have the Walther inspection stamp. One of the magazines is an early variant with serial on the left side of the body and side by side Walther stamps on the spine. Both magazines are numbered, though neither match this pistol. Pistol has an excellent bore and proper mechanics. The rig is completed by a rare hardshell holster that is 1940 dated. It's in great condition aside from two symbols or initials that were carved into the back.
