Description

6/8/23 - This is a rare and desirable Winchester Model 97 riot shotgun from 1942. It is martially marked with clear flaming bomb proof on barrel, crossed cannons cartouche and W.B. inspector mark on stock. The original finish is in very good condition with edge wear on the receiver and action bar, and some oxidation along the mag tube and barrel. There is also a small patch of pitting on the barrel. Excellent bore. The wood furniture is in very good condition with only minor dings, though the original buttplate does have a crack in it.
