Description
10/27/26 - For sale is a Remington Model 1917 chambered in .30-06 made in 1918. The receiver has a nice dark phosphate finish from post-WW1 rebuilds. The barrel finish has heavy wear with speckling of oxidation. The stock is in great shape, but the surface has been lightly sanded. The left side of the wrist has what looks like an "AAB" stamp, and there are numerous small Eagle head stamps. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Comes with a leather sling, three M14 stripper clips, and a Remington Model 1917 bayonet. The bayonet is in great shape, but the edge has been slightly sharpened and the tip is bent. The blade has an aged, patina'd finish while the ricasso has a dark blued finish. One side has the US flaming bomb and an eagle head stamped, while the other side is marked Remington 1917.
