Description

10/30/20 - This is a nice example of a scarce Erfurt Artillery Luger, made in 1914. Erfurt produced only 23,000 Artillery Lugers, all in 1914. This one is completely matching and has the proper German Imperial military proofs. It has retained roughly 80% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is on the barrel. There are also areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the front edges of the frame. Some oxidation around the muzzle. There is some faint wear on the front strap and freckling on both straps. It comes with nice original matching-numbered grips - just some light bruising. Also comes with a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
