Description

10/5/22 - This is an excellent example of a rare Artillery Luger, made by Erfurt in 1914. Erfurt produced only 23,000 Artillery Lugers, all in 1914. This one is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs and Erfurt proofs throughout. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate. Hints of wear on the side rails. One small spot of discoloration to the left of the rear sight. Some light spotty wear and freckling on the grip straps and underside of the trigger guard. Comes with excellent matching-numbered and Imperial-proofed wood grips and a blank bottom magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are some tiny pits here and there.
