2/22/23 - This is an original example of a rare Artillery Luger, made by Erfurt in 1914. Erfurt produced only 23,000 Artillery Lugers, all in 1914. This one is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs and Erfurt proofs throughout, down to the screws. All parts of the Luger match, including the right grip panel. The left panel is an original Erfurt example but mismatched to the pistol, and has a chip under the safety. The magazine is also a WW1 example but mismatched to the gun. The bluing on the pistol is original but obviously worn throughout, and there is some rust and pitting on the frame under the grips. Strong, shiny bore.
