11/25/24 - For sale is a scarce Type 38 Arisaka short rifle made at the Koishikawa Arsenal. The rifle is in good condition overall with minor spots of wear. The rifle retains the majority of its bluing with finish loss towards the muzzle and spots on the receiver. The magazine floor and trigger guard have their finish worn away. The stock is clean but there is a series of cracks on the right side of the wrist area. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling but there is some significant pitting about 3 inches from the muzzle. This rifle has mismatched serial numbers on the bolt and dust cover.
