3/7/25 - This is an extremely early, original example of a Colt Model 1905 military pistol, serial number 228! The Model 1905 was the first Colt semi-auto handgun produced in .45 ACP, and only eight pistols were completed in 1905, with this 3-digit example placing it with in the first 6 months of production. There were only ~6,000 total Model 1905s produced. This example has retained roughly about ~25% of it's original finish, with heavy wear, patina, and micro scratching throughout the slide and frame. Bore is still shiny with strong rifling, but is lightly frosted throughout. Fitted with an excellent set of original grips, with sharp checkering and no cracks or dings, just a bit of light smoothing here and there. Comes with one proper magazine.
