Description

2/21/20 - This is a nice example of a rare Mauser P.38, made in 1942, the first year of production. There were fewer than 20,000 of this variation produced, which is a very low production total for any wartime P.38 variation. This particular gun is all matching with 90-92% of the original, dust blue finish remaining. There is minor finish loss on the left side of the slide, toward the front edge, and a little more on the muzzle. There is also some thinning/browning on the front strap. Excellent bore and good mechanics. Very nice grips and a Mauser made magazine.
