Description

6/5/18 - This is a scarce byf 42 Mauser P.38 - first year of production!  There were only 19,000 of this variation produced.  It is all correct and original, with about 70% of the original dust blue finish remaining.  The color has lightened some over the years, and there is some thinning and patina throughout.  Nice Mauser mag and excellent bore.  The grips are in good shape but appear to be Russian cut.
