12/12/24 - For sale is a Winchester Hotchkiss Model 1879 saddle ring carbine chambered in .45-70. This rifle is in an overall 85% condition with the receiver retaining a nice bluing. The barrel has turned grey and brown from age with a hint of the bluing remaining. The stock is very clean with minor handling marks. No cracks or breaks to note. The bore is bright with great rifling but there is shallow pitting visible at the muzzle.
