04/14/26 -  For sale is an M44 Mosin Nagant carbine made at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1944. The carbine had undergone post war refurbishment and has the usual dark finish on the metal parts. There is some thinning and wear towards the muzzle and on the front sight globe. The receiver has some light wear and freckling of patina that is visible. The stock shows signs of being lightly sanded. There is a crack from the nosecap to the front barrel band on the left side of the stock. The bore is frosted over but fairly bright with good rifling. The serial numbers are mismatched. Import mark on the barrel. The cleaning rod is absent.
