Description
6/9/25 - For sale is a type 38 Arsiaka made by Tokyo Arsenal (Koishikawa). The rifle had been removed from military service and used as a training/school rifle as denoted by the canceled Mum with the cannon balls, and the 00 serial prefix. The rifle was also kept in military reserves as noted by the elongated M on the receiver. The metal has a nice blued finish throughout with light freckling of surface oxidation. The stock has plenty of handling marks. There is a crack about 1.5" in length on the left side behind the trigger guard and another on the right side about 3.5" in length. The bore has bright lands but the grooves are darkening. The rifle is mismatched throughout, including the dust cover.
