Description
9/22/26 - For sale is a Dutch Model 1895 Carbine made by Hembrug Arsenal in 1918. The carbine is well worn, with the metal turning a mix of grey & brown. The surface has patches of shallow pitting on the receiver and barrel. The stock is in good shape with handling wear. The roundel is clear on the right side. The bore is fair with good rifling; the surface is darkening. There is a ~1.7 inch counterbore. There is also a ring in front of the front sight base that looks like a seam, but we do not see it in the bore. The carbine has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, bolt sleeve, safety, cocking piece, bolt stop lever, trigger guard, rear sight assembly, magazine cover, and front band. The cleaning rod is absent.
