Description
7/6/22 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield Model 1903 Mark I bolt action rifle. The receiver dates to 1919 and the barrel is dated to October of 1919. The barrel is marked "SA" and has a flaming bomb proof. The receiver has a cutout to receive a Pedersen device. The stock is "P" proofed, has a faint cartouche that appears to be a "C-SAA" proof. This would indicate the gun was reworked at the San Antonio Arsenal. The gun is excellent condition, retaining most of its finish with minor scuffs around the muzzle, and some thinning on the trigger group. Nice stock but it does have a surface crack through the handguard. Comes with a period-correct sling. Strong, shiny bore.Specifications
