SOLD - Single Decal SS Helmet - M42 Repro

1/31/19 - This is an original WW2 nazi SS single decal helmet. The helmet is a model 42 and the interior is serial numbered with a maker stamp that's really hard to decipher, but we believe is "CKL" and the size is "66". The "CKL" later changed to "ET" (same maker). The helmet has some light rust throughout the interior and exterior of the shell along with other signs of normal aging. No dents or major issues in the exterior shell. The interior leather liner is excellent with only one small rip in the leather and light fraying at the rounded edge of leather. Nice, original leather chin strap as well. The exterior decal has some light wear and small spots of paint loss, but overall very nice. Under the liner, on the interior of the shell has a very light ink stamp. We tried our best to get a good photo of this. We've received information that this is not an original helmet. So please do not buy this until we have further information.
