Description

5/13/20 - This is a very good condition U.S. M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand Rifle. Includes the correct WWII Issue M3 fiberglass scabbard. This 16" bayonet has the black colored grips. Tight & secure with no cracks or chips. The blade ricasso is maker marked A. F. H. (American Fork & Hoe of Geneva Ohio) above "U.S." and the Ordnance flaming bomb. Date stamped 1942. The original finish on the blade is about 98% with minor scabbard wear and no evidence of sharpening. The scabbard is marked with the ordinance bomb and has some minor high edge wear. Nice piece of US military history.
