Description
6/27/23 - This is an original WW2 German Red Cross Enlisted Hewer with an original scabbard and leather frog. The hewer blade is in excellent condition with cross graining visible throughout each side of the blade, and very minimal surface wear. There's only trace amounts of scabbard rub wear. The original leather stopper is still intact. The hand guard has a German Red Cross Eagle with raised swastika logo on the eagle's chest. Excellent detail and light surface patina throughout. No notable issues of wear throughout the handle, cross guard, and pommel. The black grips have a strong diamond pattern on one side and are smooth and glossy on the obverse. The scabbard has mild paint loss but is in excellent overall condition. The leather frog is "jkh 41" maker and date stamped. Very nice leather and all original stitching throughout.Specifications
