Description
5/4/22 - This is a very nice example of a Springfield Armory Model 1903 originally issued to the US military in 1919. it was then reworked for re-issue during WW2. It has a Remington bolt and an April of 1944-dated High Standard barrel. There is an extremely light "BAWL" arsenal marking on the left side of the stock, indicating this gun was reworked at the Benecia Arsenal. The metal parts are very nice with very little finish loss, just some minor discoloration on the floor plate. The stock is nice, but there are minor dings and scratches throughout. Comes with an excellent reproduction leather sling. Mint bore. Action is very smooth.Specifications
