Description
3/27/23 - This is a rare Walther P.38 with 480 code on slide and frame. The 480 code pistols were the first serially produced P.38s made by Walther. There were only 7,300 produced, and this one has the earlier, round lanyard ring. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. The whole thing has been professionally restored and reblued. Almost no actual finish loss, but there are some tiny scratches and areas of pin-pricking under the finish on the right side of the slide. Excellent un-numbered grips that have been slightly shaved on the top edges. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional. The hold-open does not work with this magazine. Import mark under the tang. Unnumbered WW2 mag.Specifications
