4/10/23 - This is a near-mint example of a scarce Enfield No 4 Mk 1* made by Savage. These guns were manufactured in the US during WW2 to assist England as a part of the Lend-Lease Program between England and the US. These guns are "US Property" marked and have US military flaming bomb and "P" proofs. The small parts are all marked with a Savage "block S". The bolt is numbered and matching. British export markings on the barrel. Overall, the gun is in un-issued condition. There is very little finish loss, but there is very minor high edge and muzzle wear and a few very light scuffs and scratches here and there. Minty wood stock with a few small dings on the left side of the butt stock. "FR" marking on the right side of the butt stock. The bore is minty for the most part, but there is some very minor pin-pricking around the muzzle end.
