Description

6/12/23 - This is a nice example of an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and waffen-proofed Walther grips. Comes with a period-correct numbered magazine in the same "b" serial block, but it is not matching to the gun. The gun itself has retained roughly 80% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide in general. One small area of wear and light scratching on the right side of the slide. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
