Description

8/25/23 - This is a nice example of a Danzig Gewehr 98 rifle issued to the Imperial German military in 1916. The gun is entirely matching, including the stock, with no import marks. The metal parts have lost virtually all of their original finish with obvious spotty oxidation throughout. The wood stock has crisp numbering and Imperial proofs. There are just small dings and bruises throughout and a couple of wood repairs on the left side. Excellent bore with great rifling. Comes with an original muzzle cap.
