Description

10/16/23 - This is a nice example of a Danzig Gewehr 98 rifle issued to the Imperial German military in 1916. The gun has no import marks. Barrel, receiver, stock, bands and trigger assembly have matching numbers but the bolt is mismatched, as is the buttplate. The metal parts have virtually no finish remaining with obvious spotty oxidation throughout. The stock is excellent and matching but has been sanded. Excellent, shiny bore.
