Description

9/20/23 - This is an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The grips are also matching-numbered and "Eagle 359" proofed - a couple of small cracks on the right side. The gun has retained roughly 60% of its original high polish finish with areas of obvious wear and spotty oxidation on the front strap, on both sides of the slide, and around the muzzle. Some tiny pits here and there along the slide. The bore has strong rifling, but there is some light frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
