Description
3/1/24 - This is a rare Papa Nambu made in the early 1920s. Most Papa Nambu pistols were Navy issued and marked with an anchor. This one was Army issued, as best we can tell due to the lack of anchor marking. Made in the Tokyo Arsenal. Comes with one period-correct but mismatched magazine. There isn't a ton of actual finish loss, but there is noticeable brown patina and light pin-pricking covering virtually the whole gun. Both wood grips have repaired cracks - more noticeable on the right side. The left grip is numbered and mismatched, the right is not numbered. The grip screws are replaced. The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with minor pitting throughout.Specifications
