Description
3/25/25 - This is a rare Colt M1903 that was made in 1916 and was part of a contract order by the Belgian government, as indicated by the diamond 'A' proof mark on left side of frame. During World War I, Colt made 24,000 Model 1903 pistols to supply the Belgian government. They saw heavy use and had a low survival rate, especially in collectible condition. This one is matching and has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear and some minor thinning on the grip straps. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious spotty patina throughout. Fitted with black hard rubber grips (small chip on the right side) and comes with one proper magazine. The bore shows noticeable pitting throughout.Specifications
