Description
10/7/26 - This is a nice example of a First Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver, manufactured in 1924, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel and chambered in .45 Colt. All matching. The barrel and cylinder have been reblued, and there is some discoloration toward the front end of the frame where it looks like someone tried to refinish the original case-hardening. The original case-hardening is still visible on parts of the sides of the frame. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation along the barrel and pitting on the cylinder, spotty wear and scratches on the grip straps, and a few dings and marks along the barrel. Fitted with period-correct hard rubber grips that show noticeable handling wear and rounding. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. Fully functional.
