Description
10/6/26 - This is a Colt Model 1878 Double Action Frontier Six Shooter, manufactured in 1898 and chambered in .44-40. It is matching and in fair condition overall. Most of the original finish is worn, with honest, spotty "attic" patina throughout and some areas of light pitting here and there. There are small dings around most of the screws and pins. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown hard rubber grips. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light spotty oxidation throughout. This is an antique - no FFL required.
