Description

04/09/2024 - For sale is an excellent matching Arisaka Type 38 carbine. The carbine Is fully matching on the receiver, bolt handle, safety knob, firing pin, bayonet lug, and dust cover. The rifle also has a full, untouched Imperial Chrysanthemum on the receiver. The finish on the metal is nice but has some freckling throughout, especially on the barrel shank/chamber and dustcover. The wood is in excellent condition but there is a chip missing on the splice on the buttstock. The muzzle is clean but is on the darker side with some light shining through and with good rifling. The carbine comes with a mid-war Type 30 bayonet with a straight quillon made by Toyoda Automatic.
