Description

1/11/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser C96 Broomhandle Rig manufactured in about 1916. The rig comes with a period-correct stock that is mismatched but has an Imperial German proof. The gun is matching and in excellent condition. There is a 1920 date on the slide and a starburst proof on the underside of the frame. This would lead us to believe that it was reworked at a police arsenal. It has retained about 96-97% of its bluing. There is some wear on the back strap, underside of the barrel, and hints of wear on some of the high edges. The stock has a few light cracks. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
