Description

10/19/22 - This is an excellent, original Swedish AG 42 rifle. These were produced by AB C.J. Ljungmans Verkst?§der company beginning in 1942 and roughly 30,000 were made. This rifle was made in 1943 and has matching numbered parts on receiver, buttplate and bolt. Right side of receiver is marked 'S.S', which denotes inspection by Sten W. Stenmo. The rifle is in excellent condition, with little bluing loss. Nearly all is on the bolt carrier cover. Excellent stock has the disc intact and Swedish crown proofs on the wrist. There is a notable surface scratch no the right side, and a few dings. Smooth operation and comes with an original cleaning rod. The bore has strong rifling but a little frost, and would benefit from a cleaning. Import mark on right side of barrel.
