Description

12/21/22 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French immediately after WW2. The gun is all matching and has a French star on the slide. They used leftover Nazi parts, as evidenced by the "byf 44" factory code and the waffen proofs on the slide and barrel. It has retained about 99% of its post-war French parkerized finish. Just hints of wear on the high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent WW2-era grips and one unmarked magazine. Very nice bore - strong rifling with very minor freckling in the grooves. Functional de-cocker.
