Gorgeous Loewe Gewehr 1888 - 1891 mfg

06/19/2024 - For sale is an exceptional condition commercial Gewehr 1888 commission rifle made by Loewe in 1891. This the rifle retains a deep bluing on the barrel and trigger guard. The receiver and bolt are in the white and there's slight oxidation on them. The stock is in excellent condition for its age and free of any cracks or breaks. There are 3 Loewe stamps on the bottom of the stock. The receiver is stamped with a Crown/N. The rifle is matching on the barrel, receiver, bolt, bolt sleeve, safety flag, cocking piece, both action screws, butt plate, and both barrel bands. The bore is excellent and very bright, but it does get frosted at the muzzle but it retains sharp rifling.
