Description
5/22/26- For sale is a very nice Imperial German general's dress sword. The sword is a very similar pattern to the later dove and lion head swords but is a nicer construction with decorative elements. The blade is bright and chromed with very light wear and no patina or damage. The blade is stamped with the "Z" inside a shield manufacturer stamp and the number "19". The hilt and handguard are both decorated with the "WRII" monogram, indicating Kaiser Wilhelm II who reigned 1888-1918. There is very light wear to the grip and guard. The finely detailed monogram on the grip is particularly nice. The scabbard is plain black with a decorative portepee knot. Overall in excellent condition.
