7/30/26 - For sale we have a rare Japanese Type 99 Arisaka 4x Scope made by the Nippon Typewriter Company. The exterior of the scope is in excellent condition. The black enamel paint is uniform over the scope and mounting plate with the only areas of paint loss being the high edges. The rubber eye piece is stiff, cracked, and a bit deformed. The lens is mostly clear with just a few small dark pieces of debris that are in the sight picture. The reticle is clearly visible as well. Overall, a very nice sight picture with this scope. The mounting plate locking lever functions correctly and the Japanese characters beside it are clear and visible. The mount is numbered "4419" and a second mount piece is numbered "19". The scope serial is 13429.
