Description
2/7/19 - This is a World War II era Stevens model 416 training rifle. This gun was part of a 10,000 rifle contract that the United States military ordered for use in basic firearms training. It is marked U.S. PROPERTY and also shows the flaming bomb on the receiver. It has the original sights, which is rare because most owners had the sights upgraded. The stock is in very good condition with a few minor dings and scratches, but no chips or cracks. The receiver and metal condition is excellent, with very little finish loss on the receiver and barrel, but some patina to the trigger housing. Comes with an original sling. Excellent bore.Specifications
