Description
3/20/26 - This is a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with "Eagle 135" proofs instead of "Eagle 655" proofs. It is almost entirely matching, but the rear toggle pin is mismatched. It is fitted with a set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips - some noticeable wear on the left side, which fits a little loosely. It comes as a rig with two original "Black Widow" magazines, an "Eagle 655" tool, and a 1941-dated holster. The holster has the name "Pratte" scratched onto the back, and the belt loops have been modified for a US GI's belt. The gun's original finish rates roughly 80-85%. There is noticeable wear and spotty discoloration on the side plate, along the barrel, and around the muzzle. The bore has strong rifling, but there is some freckling in the grooves.
