Description
6/26/26 - For sale is a German WWI era ersatz bayonet. The ersatz bayonets were issued to supply the vast expansion of the German Army in the early years of WWI. This blade has pitting and patina, as well as evidence of potentially being sharpened at some point. The handle also has serious pitting and patina. There is a unit marking on the crossguard, "48 A. R. D. 5. 76". The scabbard also has serious patina and pitting. Overall in fair condition.
