Description
4/26/24 - This is a long-barrel Ithaca Model 37 pump action rifle used for training by the US military in 1941-42. Some of the contracted Model 37 riot guns were shipped straight from Ithaca's civilian production inventory and bear martial markings alongside familiar gam scenes. Such is the case for this one. The receiver is marked with a cross-canon cartouche, flaming bomb, "P" proof, and "RLB" inspection stamp. Long 30" barrel. The metal parts have retained roughly 70% of their original high polish bluing with finish loss along the barrel and scratches on the receiver. Very nice wood furniture. Good, shiny bore.Specifications
