5/5/26- For sale is a rare Remington UMC 1911 slide from the WWI era. Remington UMC was a government supplier during WWI and is the rarest model of government 1911s from WWI, with only about 21,000 produced. The slide has been refinished and is nicely blued, although there is evidence of pitting and light corrosion underneath the refinishing. The left side of the slide is crowded with information including patent dates, the Colt patent credit, and the Remington UMC manufacturer information. The right side of the slide is stamped "Model of 1911 U.S. Army Caliber 45". The firing pin is present but the bushings and springs are absent. Overall in excellent condition.
